Flatbread Pizza

Grab yourself a 'pizza' the action and you can have this flatbread pizza prepared, cooked and served in less time than it takes to call and have one delivered!


Ingredients:

  • 100g white spelt flour, plus extra for dusting

  • 100g 0% fat Greek yoghurt

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 220c/200c fan/gas 7.

  2. Mix all the ingredients until they come together.

  3. Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead to form a smooth dough.

  4. Using a rolling pin, roll out to a flat circle to the size of your frying pan.

  5. Place the pizza base in a hot, dry frying pan and cook over a medium to high heat for a couple of minutes on each side.

  6. Top with your favourite pizza toppings, including passata and mozzarella.

  7. Put in the oven for about 6-8 minutes or until cooked.

Note- This recipe is for one pizza base and can easily be multiplied. It freezes well, both the dough, and the pan fried pizza base.
